I needed a document notarised at short notice. I would have preferred a Birmingham office but they offered to give me an appointment at Brierley Hill. Unfortunately the location was difficult to find as their office is in a large complex with a one-way system. However, the actual service from Daniel was prompt and efficient and I would gladly use and recommend him again.

We needed a notary to notarise a power of attorney for the purchase of a French property. We recieved the paperwork on Friday the 8th of September and our notaire in France wanted the POA by the following week. After phoning about we managed to secure an appointment the following Thursday. We then received a call from Sarah who managed to get us an appointment on the Tuesday. All documents were notarised and emailed to our notaire in France immediately after the notary had finished. We found Fatchett and co, especially Sarah to be very helpful and efficient. **** update 16/11/22 - this company are now threatening me via email and WhatsApp message unless I remove the review, why should I remove such an honest review? Even more reason to be wary of this company, threatening people at their say so, shame on you! ****It saddens me to have to write this review, but I feel the need to let the general public know about the services of this company. I have obtained quotes for a certificate of impediment to marriage aswell as legalisation. This company have quoted me £287!!!!! Other notarys havnt even charged half of this.They described the breakdown of these costs as follows;Notarial services £175Courier to legalisation agency £25Agency legalisation fee £80Signed for return postage £7However these prices as far from the truth as per the government website guidance. Recorded delivery costs £5, return of documents £5, legalisation fee £30. And most notaries charging £50-£60 to witness you sign a document.Be very wary of this company. I don’t trust them.I have attached an email from another notary who doesn’t charge a fraction of this company!
