Fatchett & Co. Notaries are set up to offer remote notarisation. Our regulatory guidance requires us to take steps to verify you and to ensure that you understand the transaction.
We can deal with a range of documents remotely. Our notarial certification will reflect this. We cannot remotely notarise Statutory Declarations or Affidavits.
STEPS
The first logical step would be for you to book a meeting with us. You can use either Zoom or Teams.
- We will contact you to make sure we can deal with matters remotely.
- We will quote for the work and send you a confirmation.
- We will issue instructions for the remote meeting.
- When we conduct the meeting, it will be recorded.

Some documents (such as Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates do not always need a notary. They simply need to be legalised. We can arrange this for you and, if you require, we can have your documents shipped to almost anywhere in the world.
